SCREEEEEEEEAM!!!

Sometimes i have this cramped feeling that the world is closing up around me... The feeling that you are standing inside a box and the roof is about to cave in... That the sky just isn't spread far enough or the road ahead isn't long enough or the Horizon is a wee bit too close!!

Sometimes i just wanna punch the wall.. kick the door.. Head Butt something..  and shout out at the top of my voice FFFFUUUU!!

But that's just me letting all my boredom and constraints out... and while i was setting my time on fire.. whiling it away into nothingness.. waiting for shit to happen.. I cooked a little something up..

TWANG

These weights are holding me down
This air is stuffing my Heart
The mind is locked in a prison
And my soul is breaking Apart!!

With silent breath
And mourning Heart
The light I await
As I have from the Start!!

The vision dims
Darkens my Heart
As my hand reaches out
To clasp a non-existent Spark!!

As I move my limbs
These chains, They Clang
And a day might come when
They shatter with a Twang!!

Till that time has come
I shall not rest in Peace
Vengeance will be mine
For every painful breath Apiece!!

The clock is ticking
And is running backwards
The Jar is full to the brim
And I have measured all wards!!

A Storm one cannot chain
A Tempest cannot one refrain
Mount your defences well
But know they are in Vain!!

The wait is almost over
Ears are up for the Bang
Coz the wings of silence are spread
And these chains shall shatter with a Twang!!

This shell you may have tethered
But the soul is a free bird
The Heart is the eye to the soul
And of dreams there is no dearth!!

The world is but a figment
Of all that I imagine
I create it as I want
And change it on a whim!!

There is power in this world
Just close your eyes and Believe
Take a deep breath
And the soul is flushed with Relief!!

I lift my head and look at the Beam
I hear the birds as they Sang
And as I let out a loud Scream
The Chains, They break with TWANG!!!

There are no slaves today.... No prisoners that are kept in chains... The Minds are bound.. It is the Ideas that are imprisoned.. and This enslavement is worse than the old.. there were physical chains before.. ones you could break with a hammer.. But how do you free yourself from a captor you do not see?? .. how do you free yourself from the bonds you deny the very existence of??
